About Us

The Chinese Community Center of New Jersey (CCCNJ) Incorporated, began in the late 1960's, and was incorporated in 1974 as a non-profit cultural organization. CCCNJ's purpose is to teach Chinese language (mainly Cantonese) and culture, as well as to serve as a source of social activity for its members. CCCNJ has a membership of over 170 families, most of whom are Chinese or of Chinese descent.   All are welcome.

CCCNJ consists of the Center, the Chinese Language School, and the Youth Group. The Center has general meetings approximately once a month (the second Saturday at 6pm) and parties for celebration of holidays.  The Chinese Language School, which conducts classes from Kindergarten to sixth grade, meets every Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Cultural classes are also taught. The Youth Group meets once a month for meetings, and practices the Lion Dance weekly.
